Ty Sato

Ty Sato is an improviser and the Production Manager at Third Coast Comedy Club. Being in the booth every night, he has watched more improv performances than anyone in the city. Ty performs regularly with Improv Decathlon, Improvised Murder Mystery, and the long form trio Bean Chili is Back. He has studied at Third Coast Comedy Club, The Second City, and World's Greatest Improv School. He's also an avid consumer of many improv blogs, books, and podcasts.

Ty was the writer and director of the hit sketch show How To Live: A Sketch Show, in the summer of 2023. He directed Belmont University's Fall Follies from 2021-2022.

As a coach, Ty loves an efficient, playful, and productive rehearsal. He is available to coach sketch, long form, short form, and joke writing.
