Ty Sato

Ty Sato is an improviser, writer, and director. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Ty moved to Nashville for college, and came back to the city in August of 2024. In Nashville he directed sketch at Belmont University, then served as the Production Manager at Third Coast Comedy Club. There he watched more improv performances than anyone in the city. He performed with Improv Decathlon, Improvised Murder Mystery, the long form trio Bean Chili is Back, and coached Cherry Bomb; an improvised musical.

He has studied at Third Coast Comedy Club, The Annoyance, iO, and World's Greatest Improv School.

As a coach, Ty loves an efficient, playful, and productive rehearsal. He is available to coach sketch, long form, short form, and joke writing.
